continuous-distractor paradigm

continuous-distractor paradigm
Method of studying the long-term recency effect. Participants must store items and peform a distraction task (for example, an arithmetic task) between each presentation of items. The distraction task aims to prevent mental rehearsal of items. The final free recall test is also delayed by a distracting task.
