quantifiable approaches to the acquisition and development
of software systems for spaceflight, ground support,
airborne and facility applications. Development and
management of simulations, tools and integrated software
development environments for the design, development,
verification, testing, manufacture, operation and
maintenance of such systems. Specialized knowledge to
predict, evaluate and manage critical performance
attributes of software-intense systems such as real-time
response and embedded hardware-driven resource limits.
Includes knowledge of high-performance computing, graphical
user interfaces, networking, data integrity and security.
