Naturalistic engineering is a scientific discipline recently developped in german - speaking alpine regions. This new science is based on the employ of alive materials (plants) and inerts of natural type, like timber, stones, weawed of vegetables fibres, for consolidating the ground and controlling the flow of rives. This discipline conjugates therefore functionals objectives of tecnical type with ecological objectives of respect of natural environment.
