Includes broad knowledge of structures disciplines including structural dynamics, structural mechanics, structural acoustics, mechanisms, electro-mechanical devices, aeroelasticity, impact, damage tolerance and structural life prediction. Also involves research into measurement, instrument and test systems to assess structural characteristics and risks, and ensure system integration.
