Also involves knowledge of state-of-the art modeling and simulation techniques and hardware for interpreting data and translating the data into animated images for use in scientific and education contexts. Includes understanding of computer science, digital animation three dimensional modeling, video generation and other data representation techniques. Also involves aesthetic skills in creating renditions of data with the power to communicate meaning.
