DoD: One nation assumes the responsibility for procuring and providing a broad spectrum of logistic support for all or a part of the: multinational force and/or headquarters. Compensation and/or reimbursement will then be subject to the agreements between the parties: involved. The lead nation may also assume the responsibility to coordinate logistics of the other nations within its functional and regional area of responsibility. Multinational Interoperability Council: The Lead Nation is that nation with the will and capability, competence, and influence to: provide the essential elements of political consultation and military leadership to coordinate the planning, mounting, and execution of a: coalition military operation.
