The Energy Coordinating Council, the creation of which was called for in the 10-Year Strategic Energy Plan, is a body composed of the executive directors of the various state agencies engaged in energy development, whether in a land management, regulatory, economic development capacity. The agencies whose leadership makes up the Council include the Office of Energy Development, the Department of Environmental Quality, the Department of Natural Resources, the Division of Oil, Gas and Mining, and the School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration.
