Classifying, storing, and sharing documents/information as outlined in the Access to Information disclosure policy.
The procedure should clearly define Public vs. Restricted information, according to the existing legislation and policies in place including the necessary exceptions (i.e., Personal records, Security & Safety, Financial, administrative information). The procedure should also include the detailed process to (i) make public information available to the Public, as well as (ii) to provide information on request (for those records and documents which are public but not available or accessible at MARD’s external website. The procedure should also define the type of documents and reports which should be routinely made public at MARD (i.e., Policies & Strategies, Annual Reports, Administrative information related to employment opportunities, Staff Manuals, Organizational information)The procedure should include clear process ownership, accountability and responsibility lines.
